The Mornington Railway is conveniently located on the Mornington Peninsula, approximately 60 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia. The area is
well serviced by several major highways, all of which are prominently signposted.
The two main stations on the Mornington line are Moorooduc and Mornington. There is also a small station at Tanti, which is midway between the two main stations. There is
ample free parking available at all stations.
- Moorooduc station
is best accessed from Moorooduc Highway, via the Two Bays Road turn off.
- Mornington station
is best accessed from Nepean Highway, via the Pentecost Road or Mornington-Tyabb Road turn off.
- Tanti station
is located on Bungower Road, which runs between Nepean Highway and Moorooduc Highway.
For your convenience, a courtesy bus meets every train at Mornington to take travellers into the township itself, which is about three minutes drive from the station. The bus also does pick-ups in Mornington on a regular basis to deliver patrons back to the station. The courtesy bus is a free service sponsored by the Mornington Chamber of Commerce, however a gold coin donation would be appreciated to assist with offsetting the cost of the fuel.
